Sonnet of Forgiveness

Sonnet of Forgiveness

A Poem by Jeff Miller

I miss you
Something you probably won’t believe is true
I want you back, just as a friend, I won’t ask for more
I’m sorry life is a path and we never know what’s in store
I meant what I said when I said it
I wish we could put this in the past, just forgive and forget it
You are amazing, that was not a lie
I got scared though, and I’m not sure why
So here I am, on my knees
Begging to you please, please, please
Forgive me
Listen to my plea
Don’t disappear; don’t let this come to an end
Please, just let us be friends

i remember reading this awhile ago, im reviewing now cause i found it in my read requests. It does a good job of putting the reader in your shoes, helping them understand what you were going through and what ur thoughts and feelings were, so good job
