Informal Sonnet 2

So far, during my experimentation with sonnets, I've been primarily focusing on achieving 14 lines. Tell me what you think, honestly.

 

I look in your eyes

Forever is what I find

A future of our fate intertwined

You will be mine no matter how many tries

I have to make

So make it sooner rather than later

For both our sakes

You are my Earth

Your touch is its quake

You are endowed with beauty

You are perfect, even to my incredulity

Do not struggle, do not fight

Give in to receive your desired life

The life of happily ever after

Oh .. this was beautifully written.. so enticing for a lady to read! It's short but what so many want to hear.. love is actually a lot more work than just that... but what woman or girl doesn't want to hear that kind of heart and confidence! You place her on a pedestal of being perfect in your eyes.. which is a huge thing (no one is truly perfect... but sometimes perfection is in those imperfections). I really enjoyed this one! Thank you so much for sharing.. I hope whomever it was written to appreciates it for the feelings it conveys!
