An Informal SonnetA Poem by Jeff MillerA sonnet does not have to follow Shakespeare's method or other poets. The only consistent thing among sonnets are 14 lines. This is not going to be my layout for sonnets, so I declare this to be an informal sonnet.
Everything that is
Everything that was
None of it compares to you
Everyone looks at you and observes a girl
But my eyes see an angel
A perfect angel
You’re my world wonder
To others there are the Pyramids
But I just see you…period
You belong with me
Hopefully, soon you shall see
That we would make the perfect pair
Forever, I promise to care
So, Beautiful, please be mine
