A Poem by Jeff Miller
"

One of my friend's in real life wrote a poem called Torn and this is a response to that poem. Here is a link to her poem: http://www.writerscafe.org/writing/sarah12345/469922/

"

Before you are two paths
One you can already grasp
For you have been upon it's trail before
The other though is a mystery, you don't quite know what's in store
Should you go this way or that?
Which one do you think will truly last?
You decide what story is told
All that's left is to turn your question into an answer, close your eyes and pick a road.

Wonderful!

Your poem speaks of choices - do we take the familiar path, or venture down the one unknown, but one that may present wonderful possibilities - we shall never know until we travel it!
I love the last line as it really wraps up the fact that it is ultimtely our choice.....just do it!

It is nice that you have written it to accompany your friends write - a very nice concept!

This is nifty. I feel as if my thought process is explained quite thoroughly...most of the time, I am deciding between the path less taken and the "way of the prep."
