Could It Be Fate?

I don't think this is good. Definitely not one of my better pieces, but tell me what you think

 

You're all I want 
You're all I need 
If you were mine our relationship I would flaunt 
Our discussions tend to confuse 
Either you or me 
And it's so hard to hear you would be with me if you were single and for my heart not to fill with glee 
Only in our thoughts are we truly free 
But all that's in my mind is images of you and me 
A picture says a thousand words 
A saying I'm sure you've heard 
But my poems are meant to speak ten thousand emotions 
The sight of your eyes is the strongest love potion 
I act like you wish he did 
But you don't even know exactly how I feel 
I feel stronger and I try to have some of the other thoughts hid 
Around you I feel warm and safe 
Just like you did when you were a kid 
It's only you I wanna date 
I hope I'm not too late 
Your soul is what my eyes trace 
And I wonder... could this be fate?
