She Walks By

She Walks By

A Poem by Jeff Miller

Why can't I put her behind

Just push all those thoughts of her outta my mind

Everything seems to remind me of her

And all those memories put my head in a whirl

(Chorus)

What happened to us?

I wish I knew went wrong

Instead now im feelin

sad and writin this song

I wish I could show her no ones gonna love her like I love her

I keep sittin here wonderin why

And she doesn't notice that I stop and stare as she walks by

Things wit you and me always turn out this way

Turnin my sky to gray

I wish I could fix all this

But instead its you I miss

My feelings will always remain

Even through all the hard times and the strain

(Chorus)

Its 5 in the morning and I wish I sleepin

But I just keep thinking

I wanna be wit you

Call me crazy but I think you might feel it too

Can things go back to how they were?

(Chorus)

Maybe its just my imagination

But sometimes I see you stare just a little too long

And it makes me start to wonder...

Why can't you realize that you're my air

And without you I can't breathe

How come when I reach you're no longer there

Hopefully now you're starting to see

Just how much you and I are meant to be

(Chorus) 2x
