I'm Sorry

I'm Sorry

A Poem by Jeff Miller
"

This was actually written as lyrics.

"

Ever since the start of life

Everything's just been alright
And then I met you
You got me feeling so good, I try to leave you clues
You're the best thing that ever happened to me
You have my heart, and I gave you the key

(chorus)
I said I liked you
And you said you felt the same way too
I should've jumped at the chance
We could of had our romance
But now your feelings have changed, you're staying with your dad
And we both feel sad
Girl, I'm so sorry

It doesn't matter if we're a couple or just friends
Either way I'm gonna stick with you until the end
I'll always want more
I love you straight to the core
I've never felt anything in the world like this before
I know you're involved
If you weren't the problem might be solved
But you are
I just hope I don't give you a scar

(chorus) 2x

I can easily see this as a lyric. For me, the hook comes in the chorus when her feelings change. Nicely done.
