A Poem by Robert Luna
"

A little something that I felt after receiving a gift. Ask and I will explain if you don't already don't know

"

Words melt and fall off the page
being lifted to heaven’s gates
Carried in puffs of smoke
as ashes scatter with the wind
Taking my words back to the Earth
from which they came
Parts of my soul
and wisdom I learned
lay charred and brunt
Releasing of my spirit
from pages and scripts
Witnessing a burning of my book
unleashing an evil hold
a freeing of my soul
Ambers golden orange glow
turn to blacken grays
As they fade
and just float away

Nicely done.

I do not know the background story here but to burn a book must mean something quite profound and evil was amongst the words - I hope you have found peace and release and the gift brought you harmony. Wonderful writing.

The book deserved to be in hands for more deserving anyway, but then I feel like that wasn't the issue anyways.
I hope it brings closure, that is what would be best for everyone involved.

I like how you've handled this whole thing but I do understand the implications of these sorts of things, it can be so worrisome and scary. Excellent writing my friend.

Here is to the peace and happiness you and yours have deserved all along.

Full circle. The words that inflamed the disturbing thoughts of another were destroyed as if your words could be erased so easily. Written on your heart, the truths that shine so brightly from within cannot be banished so easily. I hope the gift means an end.

You silly man. You said this was not that good. It is stunning. It is a poem of liberation. Your imagery is splendid and your flow is graceful. I think you underestimate yourself. LOL
