Lifeless Doll

Lifeless Doll

A Poem by Jean Sharala
"

Life of a sad girl

"

No longer is happiness allowed

Nor the shedding of sorrowful tears

No anger is to be shown

And she has hidden her fears

She is a lifeless doll

A robot at heart

Her thoughts have been cast down

Her words now locked away

There is no emotion shown

Beautiful amber eyes have lost their shine

Long flowing brown hair now flat and dull

And her once loved smile now replaced

by a blank face

She has shut down

And her heart's become numb

Her freewill now taken away

And her words useless

Useless in the eyes of whom should matter

Her action that once kept her alive

Now pathetic and hopeless

She is no more in this world
