A sullied crown

A sullied crown

A Poem by Jdubbs1

I once ruled the world with relentless ignorance.
I once cherished a face that embodied disgrace
I once walked the streets with blood coverd rose petals strewn beneath my feet.
I once feared the world that embraced me would one day erase me.
My renown crown now withers upon the ground and this glorious earth has now buried its worth.

Can I ask, was there anyone you had in mind when writing this? Very good though. I imagine a leader in earlier times. Thank God they recognized their own ugliness
