Rain

Rain

A Poem by Jessica Danielle

Bring on the rain.

Shower me in the skys' tear drops.

Come on lightning.

Light my way.

Thunder, you can't scare me away.

I won't run away.

Drench me to the skin, as I twirl and spin.

You're just a plaything.

Rain.

This storm doesn't bother me.

Not even if I'm cold, wet, and soggy.

It could rain for days.

And here I'll stay.

Bring on the rain.

Nice poem. I like the use of the images of rain/thunder/lightning. Great job.
