Breathe

For many years I tried so hard.
To live a life, a normal life.
For many years, I tried to hide.
Fighting my battles quietly inside.

Afraid to say something and open up.
Fearful of being judged and misunderstood.
I can't seem to find an answer.
I just happened to be an innocent sufferer.

Starting over again is so tiring.
Those times, those moments.
Cried and laughed for countless of days.
Hoping that it will end soon.

Though the pain will disappear,
The scars are left forever.
Time won't sadly wait.
Today will eventually become yesterday too.

I keep saying to myself.
Everything will be fine.
Even though exhausting and painful.
Life is beautiful.

Your life is your life.
There's always light of hope.
It may not be much light,
But it can beat the darkness.

You can't beat death.
But don't die before your death.
Embrace each and every breath you're taking.
Celebrate your life, live it.

However difficult life may it seem.
There's always something you can do.
Remember to look at the stars,
Not down at your feet.

It's okay to be scared.
It's okay to cry.
It matters that you don't just give up.
While there is life, there is hope.

You are part of something bigger than yourself.
Everyone has a different clock.
Wait for your time, hold on.
If you're tired just breathe, don't let go.
