Unsent

A Story by simpleromantic

Where are you?
At this time, I’m sorry.
If this conversation is awkward.
Just listen even if only out of manners.

Maybe you’re one of the people in this world.
But to me, you’re the world.
Through the many months and years.
You’re still the face I want to see.

I have nothing I can give.
There’s nothing I can do.
I can’t think of grand promises.
I can only love you unconditionally.

I keep acting to my intuition.
I walked along the roads with you.
Pretending like a stranger.
In order to forget you.

Depending all through fate.
Without knowing the right timing.
If unrequited love is still love,
Will my heart be at ease?

Practicing all of these words.
In my head too afraid to talk.
Keep writing poems, letters.
I’ll never be able to send.
