True

True

A Poem by JB Esquire

Sometimes I feel so alive
No emptiness resides
In my loneliness
No regret in my past
Haunts me down
Like a feline cat
With such fury
And prowess
To pounce upon the dreary
Fears of its prey

At other times I feel completely
Lost in my cause
To search through life for love
It seems so deep
A pool of emotions
That to stay true to the
Cause when all
This may be
For nothing more than
An experience
To fill the void of
Another loss

Lost in my wants to be
A sincere man whom
Only wants one woman
To love and to hold
In the gesture of old
An embrace that makes
The heart smile at fate
For the chance
To dance the dance
Of loving one true
And not from being blue
But from loving
For the sake of loving you

Afraid of stating these fears
To the years
That we could have
In the times that would pass
While we fell in love
And lost one another
In each other

Afraid of the end
That would inevitably come
If we failed to perfect
The embrace that held
Us correctly
In union
While we walked
Through the play
Of our days
Together as one

To shed these fears
Means to know that time
Will have to stand in line
When it comes to loving you
True
And forgetting about
What or how it
Will play out
And live in the moment
Without doubt

My love I give
To you
For being you
Independent
Sexy
Strong
Sincere
Hot
Caring
Sharing
Your life with me
In the reality
Of a day to day
Loving spree
In the now
Of how
We choose to be
come a singular
One
