The Forgotten ChildA Poem by JazzThis poem is partly autobiographical. I hope it shows that no one has to be a victim of Destiny. Life is what you make it.A living, breathing reminder of a youth that was defiled, Cast in the shadows, a dirty secret was the forgotten child. It seems inconceivable to fight the condemnation of Destiny Yet this is what the child did, valorously and endlessly. Over heartless Destiny did this unwanted child prevail, Refusing to live a life of lies behind Shame’s darkened veil. © 2011 JazzAuthor's Note
