Framed

Framed

A Poem by Jazmine Devine
"

I want to turn these into lyrics...

"
I told the lie for you
So you wouldn't get caught
I played the part for you
Just as you thought
You whispered in my ear
Will you please tell a lie?
So, I cannot be found
is that clear?

You were the criminal
but I told the lie
You told me that
everything would be fine
I wait behind these bars
I took the blame
I once loved you
what a shame.

I cannot believe that
the blood was on my hands this time
Never could of guessed that you
would commit such a crime.

You were the criminal
but I told the lie
You told me that
everything would be fine
I wait behind these bars
I took the blame
I once loved you
what a shame.

I'm dying behind these bars
As you run away so far
So many people in this world
and you chose me.

You were the criminal
but I told the lie
You told me that
everything would be fine
I wait behind these bars
I took the blame
You were the criminal
but I told the lie
You told me that
everything would be fine
I wait behind these bars
I took the blame
I once loved you
what a shame.
