A Poem by Jeanice montanez

I was so in love with you and in ways I still am
you put life where it hadn't been before and for that, I thank you but
don't pat your self on the shoulder yet,  because you broke me
in places i wasnt broken before, you cut me on my skin i hadn't gotten too yet
you made me cry more then my cousin who forced himself inside of me at the age of 13
you broke my soul more then my mother who abandon me and and my sibligs before i could talk
and you made me more angry then my father who left me and started a new life.
Now if you feel like you deserve it congradulations you beat them.

...you survived... I'm curious of how you dealt with becoming who you are. We are all broken in our own unique ways ...some find a glue, others find themselves, some throw their lives away... I'd like to see your "voice" - here ...your own words telling your way.
