Sigh Key Soul

Sigh Key Soul

A Poem by Jeremiah Medina

This is beyond me
This power running through me
So consuming this struggle inside
The soul is in battle with mind
Once again It must be overcome
To say the least of all
We must begin
There is a calling heard by few
Like the faintest of bells
The tiniest ringing
It beckons us
The spirit lusts
And we are drawn forth
Like moths to light
So strong is this force
To some unknown
We must be strong now
Within our souls
Center discovered
Single line spread out
Connecting everything
Secondary shapes
Where this leads
Is anywhere you can imagine
Now the path opens
The door unlocked
I am standing in this threshold
Like a fine wire beneath my feet
There's no going back only forward
But timing is everything
Patiently with key in hand
The soul sighs restlessly.
