Are We Not Gods?

Are We Not Gods?

A Poem by Jeremiah Medina
"

Why not worship yourself?

"
Can you feel it, can you feel me at all?
Do I have presence, essence or energy?
I feel like nothing, is why I ask
Like their is nothing inside
Something has taken a piece of me
To run away and hide
Id like to get it back
So I can feel alive again
Perhaps I really cant
Suppose I've truly died
But the dead don't know their dead do they?
Maybe the living don't know they're alive.
Just maybe we're all both
The prefect blend of undead time
Would that make it all wrong?
If we were all already dead
Or if we've died a million ways
If death was not the end
A minor part of life instead
If we thought we lived forever
All together as one
Would we become immortal?
More soul then body
Would we be gods?

We have too many Gods already. Fighting over belief and faith have killed too many already. Poem is very good. I like the story and the description. A outstanding poem.
