The Core

The Core

A Poem by Jeremiah Medina

In the center of it all,
The universe, worlds a bound
A bubble of energy composed
Of liquid centers, with silver shells

Beneath the heavens
Above the hells
The scales tip
The vision dwells

Locked in gravities pull
Despite its neverending struggle
For always, stuck, and struck imobile
Like a picture of a star

In conversion, spinning power
Self charging, ghostly smile.
The flickering flame, a single spark.
Silent and melancholy, never ending light

Spinning celestial dream,
A flowering multicolored scene.
Lost in deep oblivion
The core of all and everything.
