Vegitative Perception

Vegitative Perception

A Poem by Jeremiah Medina
"

Nature is everything.

"
My mind can not escape this,
There's something going wrong,
In times of pure frustration
Senseless, brutal savage brawls.

How could you not guess?
How can't you be wrong?
As nothing exists here
Whats worth holding on?

Crushing realization,
You are all alone,
Life is a creation,
Of eyes and mind and soul.

Buried in your own restrictions,
Are you really in control?
Can you rule, or change perceptions?
Would you even care to know?

Some wont mind to be relinquished
But of course some will push on.
Some of us are bold, determined.
We will fight and stand our ground.

Of course violence will not answer
Never really solved a thing.
We'll be laughed at, turned to cinder
They might smile, give a wink

Lets just leave it to be figured
Lets just sit and stay a span
We'll observe, the changing planet
Live and love, enjoy the land.

So what really is the answer?
Talking to this plant of mine
Joyously singing politely
Slowly growing, defeating time.
