...Drop

...Drop

A Poem by Jeremiah Medina
"

enjoy the fall...

"
The ants, they scatter
A glance upwards
That horrible shrieking
As something falls.
It looks so tiny
From a distance
A spec of color
In the blackest space.
With silent wonder
And tear filled eyes
They stare up, frozen
Just in time.
Hearts are racing
Stomachs turning
Heads are aching
Fear consumes.
Here it comes now
Closer and closer
Nothing can stop it now
When will this end?

Time passes
...drop
Eternity passes
...drop
Life passes
...drop

Always and forever
...drop

This poem was as innocent as a child and as vivid as a rainbow. It was full of wonder and it sparked my imagination. I honestly enjoyed reading this beautiful poem. Kudos.
