The Beginning (A Shadows Holiday)

The Beginning (A Shadows Holiday)

A Poem by Jeremiah Medina
"

Perspective on a theory of creation.

"
Sleepy memories of forgotten times
In the wake of a fantasy
Of far away places longed for again
In a night like no other.

Freezing as you breathe in the darkness
An absence of desires
Freedom from thoughts
Floating away into the abyss
of a shadows holiday.

An explosion shatters
Billions of shining fire works
Coming from nowhere
Directly towards you.

One spark.

Creation is revealed
The universe explained
Every question is now answered
Every image is now seen
Still its left expanding
Eternity is yours
Continuing always
Existence is now born.

Great piece here! I've seen a ton of poems about love, more about hate. I've even read a few pieces about political turmoil. This, however, is fresh and exciting. Great work and very original.
