Proud

Proud

A Poem by Jeremiah Medina

Bring forth the nectar
Sugar And honey
Beware the plants wrath
Why they are so angry?
Their grudge that never ends it seems
What have I done to earn contempt?
I ask for forgiveness.
Have I not deserved it yet?
Do I suffer enough?
Have they no mercy?
Have they no lave?
I wish for happiness to everyone but me
Solace and silence
My never ending dream
For all to find their happy
Then I shall be
When all of nature is joyful
So I am with it
I wish to be free
I wish my torture to cease
The pain to ease
The right to breathe
I've earned it now
I want It bad.
Proud.
