Enjoy another Beautiful day

The day is as beautiful as it could be

birds chirping weather almost flirting

I am blinking as these rays are falling on fragile me

held on to these strings too tightly

its too hard now to just break free

even when i am happy and smiling

cont help but feel something is missing

and i am an willing but feel empty

and continue the circle daily

trapped am kicking and screaming

hoping someone out there is listening and understands

sometimes all i want is just to be crazy

free to be careless and just be me

unruly and decide my fate freely

on my toes am willing to pay the bills

for the actions i have chose

if that meant i could brake loose

suck in another warm ray

and enjoy another beautiful day

Being "the man" don't come easy, we have to earn our way AS we do - "walk our talk" as so many say. As we "listen" we grow. As we "grow" our bodies and minds "become" the persons we are. We earn the breaths we get to take and even the ones we sometimes hold along our way. I too like the sun - even as it "sets".
