Lost and found

Lost and found

A Poem by Just Jayren
"

It's pretty self explanitary, but I put a great emphasis on how people may seem on the outside and their emotions are completly contridictory.

"

My life's story, isn't an exciting read

It revolves around an infinite trudge, while I search for life's fulfilment

However much to my annoyance, I never cease to encounter the difficulties which force my head down

It leaves that ill taste in my mouth & my breaths are deep and unsavoury to match my mood

Yet I find it easy to put on my mask

A convincing smile

My arms tightly crossed, I'm a fortress

Looking in all directions, heads spinning in circular motions

And sometimes someone forces my search to halt, and the expectation suddenly rises

My mask becomes replaced with an actual smile

As my search turns into my mission to that someone mine

And after my mission begins to show my desire that someone turns into you

I'll be sure to send you my technological love if I don't see you standing in front of me

Deep emphatic thoughts will ever reamain in my head, working vigorously trying to find new ways to diminish your mask

I hope I learn to love you like a song I know off by heart

I hope you can show me how life is supposed to lived, so I can live the rest of mine with a real smile on my face

"Yet I find it easy to put on my mask
A convincing smile
My arms tightly crossed, I'm a fortress"

These lines caught my attention.
We find it so easy, to hide ourselves
while searching, searching for
something to catch us off guard,
surprise us, and bring a smile
upon our faces. But what
ever really made up so upset
in the first place? What gave us
the effortless affect of putting on our masks?
Nevertheless, I hope you'll keep
writing, these great lines of poetry.

Great write;
-j
