That Wholesome Feeling

That Wholesome Feeling

A Poem by Just Jayren

Calm

A simple aroma of calm swaying through me

A storm's brewing, as if this sway of 'calm'

is a light spray of wind caressing me on the edge of a cliff

It all seeming oddly sensual

The essence of soothing riddles my consciousness

The idea of contemplation is on a conveyor belt

having the ride of it's life

Falling through an existential realm of nothingness

allows the force of freedom to burst my imagination

into a whirlpool of everything, leaving speech found wanting

and me wanting speech

Feeling as if my world executed the most lethal coup imaginable

My physical presence no longer mine to wield

it was stolen by myself and was hidden far away from my presence

The process of value cleansing is well on the way

But it's probably time to wake now

I liked this, it gives a questioning view of things usually not given much thought.
"It all seeming oddly sensual
The essence of soothing riddles my consciousness."

I did enjoy that. Thanks.

Your comparisons and analogies were really interesting.

very esoteric and existential. it's nice to know people have these feelings and can meditate on these feelings.

Wow! What a lovely description of calm... a cleansing of the soul, now ready to be awakened!...
I've missed your writing, glad you're back! Your time has come, to start anew... Nicely done!

"Falling through an existential realm of nothingness

allows the force of freedom to burst my imagination

into a whirlpool of everything, leaving speech found wanting

and me wanting speech"~ A wonderful expression!
