Unspoken Truth

Unspoken Truth

A Chapter by Jason

It feeds on my uncontrolled silence

Peeling away the layers of my mind, poking at my secrets

Unsure I am of its cause but a slave I am to it

Forced tears bleed truth of a desired speech

Its coarse venom eating away at my soul

Here, now on my knees awaiting the executioners call

He will not come

Alone and alive I must carry this demon

The ink blends and the lines blur as I try to write it out

My heart taking its final stroll

The cold slowly crawling up my spine as I draw my final breathe

As my eye lids grow heavy and the silence consumes me I speak

The lines no longer blur but become solid

The burden so forceful on my shoulders is lifted

But my speech is too late

Moaning has been given to me and peace is for once, received.
