Our Journey

I want to say that I am never a lone in my feelings

My life is not a happy ending or a dramatic horror

I have bled and fell upon hardships like many others

True I find myself naked and confused at times but I’m still here

I have found myself broken and unwanting

Some have challenged this remark, and some enforce it

We mark ourselves successful by the materials we hold

I hold myself successful by awakening each day knowing my pain

There is no need to hide my well fought tears

Its moist humble being will dry on its own time

   Forward is the march of my eternal salvation

Only through the rivers of lost hope will I raise my shattered sail

Fear not the winds or the waves for they will guide us

Hold fast and keep your eyes on the horizon

Know that only those who dare the journey will conquer

Know that you can not build a wall of dead bodies and not expect rats

Your sins will drag your weather feet but know the pain shall be lifted

I know it hurts and the mere thought of it chokes you

No one can understand this like you

They think they can but every ones point of view is different

Know it is only you who can take this journey

I can not hold your hand or show you the way

But I will be waiting for you

Know that there is always hope

It will not be easy

I can promise you it will be the hardest thing you will ever have to do in your life

As much as it hurts you must forgive those who have wronged you

Even if that person or thing is you

Our scars in fact make us stronger

Dig deep now and focus on what it is that must be done

Not for others but for you

You deserve peace

You deserve to be loved

There is a reason for life

The experiences we have no matter how horrid or joyous

Share what you know and help others find the trail

But remember you can not guide them

Together we are strong and remain unchallenged

I will release you now to take fourth on your journey

I look forward to seeing you at the end

Fare well and find your self guided tomorrow
