Pain

Pain

A Chapter by Jason
"

Just read it

"

Why must the weeping heart cry?

With a aching desire for passion and understanding

Has the moon bled and rose lost its last peddle

Feverish temptations have called my name

Pain reaches through out my weathered mind

Pain is what I feel, and Pain is what I know

But my pain has cast no roots

I shall grow from its poison and reach out towards the horizon

I will use this pain to find my tomorrow

To fly once more like the eagles

I shall remold my weeping heart and plant a new seed

The sun will not set on my horizon

NO! Never will winters grasp stunt my bloom

I am strong like the ox and brave like the Lion

Wounded I am but not dead or dying

Fear not my glazed wondering eyes for I know my new path

Forward is where I march, towards the bleeding moon to show I am not afraid

My shadows try to bare weight but I will drowned them in light

Hear my joyous roar for I will not falter

Know my horrendous pain for it has guided me

See my awakened smile, for tomorrow has come and yesterday is but a dream.

I loved it. Its dark but not so despondent that all hope is lost. It has a nice balance between the ideas of suffering and recuperation..

I love the hopeful feeling I got at the end. I love the line "Know my horrendous pain for it has guided me". Good job.
