One Last Kiss

A touching poem of love and death.

"

Her heart, pounding with fear and loyalty sank to its gentle touch.

A tear half formed fell amongst the darkness.

Would this be it? The end of such a beautiful dream.

He held her. Wanting more every second but couldn't bare the pain.

Again his heart had deceived him; a crooked smile met his face.

How could he be so stupid? A love lost never bares birth again to a broken heart.

She fought to keep her ground, his pulsating biceps beneath her tips.

The sound of a dragon dieing could make even the strongest men cry.

Alas the pain grew numb and his eyes bared no weight.

The warmth from her breath took his and he knew, that this

would be their one last kiss.

The last two lines make me melt. Once again, a really good job. I like these small bits of poetry, though I must admit I suck at reviewing them so please excuse me =] But great work!
