Beautiful Somethings

Beautiful Somethings

A Poem by Jaylen Stokes

Beautiful things don't survive long in the world so take them and nuture them.
Tell them they are beautiful and make them last.
I have something beautiful
but the world has already started to take her...
She has been plagued by death and has little trust.
Little hope for something wonderful, but she's missing the point...
You can't replace true love,
a relationship is like a heart,
if half dies eventually the other does too,
but if half was never there the other will keep living trying to find the true half remembering the fake half grieving...
If two halves meet that were both faked that fit together and are happy and get to be close then they realize... I... Found the one, yay!...?
No
beautiful things don't last in the world
because beautiful doesn't mean perfect
the world is a reading teacher
it dissects beauty and finds the Problem.
It takes Real love for a person to throw it behind themself,
not questioning just enjoying beauty of what it is.
But "The Problem" is what kills Real love... It changes from time to time but it Is the same: too heavy to throw...
