When I first saw you,
I thought stranger.

 

When you first smiled at me,
I thought friend.

 

When you first held my hand,
I thought girlfriend.

 

When you first looked into my eyes,
I thought lover.

 

When you first kissed me,
I thought wife.

 

When I watch you sleep,
I think mine forever.
