A Poem by Wont Ever Reach The Shore

You dream but you've never dreamt at all.
You slumber but you've never slept before.
O Lord, it's over now, you're so confused like all the times before.
You count the sheep and pretend to weep, and say "Lord I'm changing now, O Lord, I will change tonight, O Lord I need your light"
You deceive yourself but not myself, I can see your past mixing with your present.
Honesty, honestly it's all I need to enable my heart to love again.
We both know it hurts but we can heal, let loose your shame and let's hold this still.
We are moving far too far and losing it all, let's find our star; I will catch you if you fall.
Change isn't change if you remain the same, and attempt to screen your shame.
Fame is fame it dies but my love never will.
I will seal this verse with my kiss and keep it close to spirit.
I know you're thinking "how will this ever be?"
I love you and you love me, and that is all we need.
Don't run distant, you still have to come back to me.
