Fall Of The Phoenix

Fall Of The Phoenix

A Poem by Wont Ever Reach The Shore

I believe in my mind that tonight is the night when black meets white.
And the universe will shed a tear.
I will form from the blood, watering the seeds of shame and sorrow.
The roots will spread, Chlorophyll will boil.
This tree will reach the heavens.
The trunk will be engulfed in fire.
The branches shall free fall back to Earth.
I believe they call this death and rebirth.
