Happy Birthday Stepdad

Happy Birthday Stepdad

A Poem by Jayda Jackson

Happy birthday to you,
Just wanted you to know.
That you are amazing,
Like a present with a bow.
You have been my moms present,
In return, shes been yours.
I'm glad you're in our lives,
You have opened doors.
So listen when I say this,
This poem is right on set.
Just wanted to say you are my hero,
Am I'm glad you and my mother have met.
A hero isn't made up,
A hero isn't just supermen.
A hero is when a calling comes,
And saves what could've been.
A person who has tried,
A person who has cared.
A person who promises not to leave,
And always have been there.
You brought our family closer,
You've shown us something rare.
That just because guys are wack,
There are still some men who care.
So happy birthday to you,
I'm glad you're here today.
I promise I wouldn't have it,
In any other way.

A lovely poem for your stepdad. I'm sure he will cherish it.
One little typo
I'm glad you're our lives,
I think you missed a word here.
A gorgeous poem. We all need our heros!
