Happy Thanksgiving

God is good , god is great,
Let us thank him for this day.
For this food and for our lives,
Let us grab our forks and knives.
We have a roof , we aren't alone.
We have a family, we have a home.
Today we think of the meal
But also thank god a great big deal.
He gave us life..he gives up hope
Smile big as we cope
Today we thank him, today we thank her too
Her being our mother , nothing's new.
Without a mom, without the boss.
We'd all be a mess, we'd all be lost.
So lets give thanks to the best,
Remember the good, forget the rest.
Today we are together, life could be worse.
We are happily alive , that's what our smiles are worth.
Lets all laugh, lets all eat
But lets not forget why we meet.
We are thankful, we do care.
We have survived yet another year.
God is good, yes god is great.
