Anyone can say they love you

Anyone can say they love you

A Poem by Jayda Jackson

Love me when I'm healthy,
Love me when I'm dying.
Anybody can say they love you,
When the sun is shining.
But I don't want that simple love,
That's not the way I feel.
I want you to love me now,
Show me that it's real.
Not because the sun is shining,
Love me when it rains.
Not just because right now we're happy
Love me when in pain.
Feel that feeling that you feel,
When the sun goes down.
But take me with you on the journey,
Hand me a big crown.
I can be the one you want,
And if I'm not that's fine.
But don't coming running back,
Asking to be mine.
Just love me when the sun is shining,
Love me when it's not.
But don't think that I need you more,
I just like you a lot.i
For now, your love is special.
To me, it's really great.
But that could surely change,
If you speak up too late.
I like that you are weird,
I like that you are silly.
But you just know a little,
About the way I'm feeling.
So love me when I'm healthy,
Love me when I'm dying.
Cuz anyone can say they love you,
When the sun is shining.
