Silent DisrespectA Poem by JayceeCIn silence, there is a message Louder than any non-utterance. No words could ever be so cruel. Word Demon Gone Mute, This skin is soft to touch, Yet impenetrable to your sword Which now withers in hand. The visage slipped, Your craven ways show true-- Risk of confrontation, your defeat. May it crown your head. Inevitable endpoint shown Clear in your armor 'til glare blinded you. That sound was my shield going up, Not my heart breaking.
Black bile infects Killing your romantic posies In undercurrents of blood and thought You try to disguise and normalize. Disrespect stands, Coldly; quietly as a breakfront Keeping warm winds of friendship at bay. Never will before come again.© 2015 JayceeCReviews
