Of words of passion
Never before sought
He thinks he's the reason
For every sensual plot
Hiding he deals ink
with double entendre
A straightforward style
Being more her forte
Playing together without a care
This the penman's love affair.

This is actually a rebuttal poem, to a friend on another site, so this is short sonnet form, most of the time the group of us write in limerick form. Just crazy brain exercises, but I liked this one.

This is actually a very quick short sonnet form.... as a rebuttal...but thanks. I'll throw some other rants up at some point. I always write directly to site and with a quick edit...but thoughts may "gel" around in my head for a few hours before I write. Rants however, just spew out, and I had been reading CD's sonnets soooo... Thanks and remember that not everything has to rhyme...most of mine do not.

So we have a mystery writer of a kind and a love affair of another kind. I love when dealing with the shady back street affairs. Makes life ever so interesting. The poem itself is pretty straight forward. Nothing too deceitful or tawdry there. Now I like the double entendre. Could be a clue under that pillow case!
