High Rise Hotel ViewA Story by Jayce RanI am really exploring my style as a writer. If you notice any errors or have any tips I would highly appreciate it.After a long days travel and a flight, I check in opening the door to my subtle hotel room. The air condition was left on causing a cool draft that was rather refreshing in the moment. Closing the door behind me; rocking the do not disturb signs. The sounds of city jive was gone. Silence; wondrous silence. I set my bags by the soft charming well dressed bed. I would have accepted anything to sleep on that day though. There is a large paneled window just passed the small almond night stand. I'm looking out over a dying sky; lit in purple and yellow florescence under a New York evening. A mountain of glass towers block the view of the dwindling horizon. Lights pass by from the constant traffic. Night consumes the heavens and the world is lit in a brilliant display of electric arts. I cannot help but admire this view from the high-rise hotel I am staying in tonight. © 2014 Jayce Ran
