Dystopian

Dystopian

A Poem by JayBiz

Swimming,

Thoughts oppressing.

In the dark,

Lies I won’t forgive.

Veering into the great unknown.

Diving,

Head first.

Past the house,

Here; yet not feeling.

Searching for a clearer motive.

Breathing,

While underwater.

Is much easier

Than one would think.

Yet there must be a better way

Descending,

Ever deeper.

Trying to survive

To see things through

When closure is a luxury.

Treading,

To survive.

One must learn

To find their way

If you don’t believe; try.

Floating,

So tranquil

Facing the sky

The currents of change

Compel me to accept fate.
