On The Sea ShoreA Poem by Jaya DasA poem portraying the reality of our life....
Standing on the sea shore
Under the bower of my thoughts I was struggling with myself Couple of waves arrive and part All urging me to give a new start. They came with a smiling face Washed my feet, a soothing touch Giving the realisation of the moment Nevertheless I stood still and numb Sadly, they departed at their lowest ebb. Guarded by the oblivion wall To me , blurred image seemed all Lost all strength to cross the fence Of past memories and future plans Just standing I was with futile hands. Gone waves I couldn't get back Upcoming was out of my reach Knew not what would it bring Inundated with frivolous dreams, st™od still, Nothing I found, niether shells nor silt. All I was left with wet feet........ All I was left with wet feet.................
