ScribbledA Poem by The JayI - Repression. Etched on the glass, Waiting to pounce, On the cornerstone of my mind, Lasts for a minute, Markings on the wall, Winding up the space, Off the frontiers, Remains for as long. Hush! "The fireplace, The sounds, The blood, The bright lights" Delving into the depths of the remains, Caressing the incandescent glimpses, Closing in with acquiesce, Fearing the everlasting wave into the abyss, Dripping from the recess of the mind, Hidden underneath the ceiling, Waiting for the moment, Tattered and torn. Cease. "The face. The strike. The fall. The cold." II - Illusion Beyond the gates was a garden, So serene it was the angels glanced with humility, Recklessly I entered and I saw a flower. "Oh pretty flower, thy fragrance reached out and found something, That I did naught know was thither but unaware thou were, Of the shoal that lay beneath as it came back to haunt, Leaving thee delirious was not what I desired. Oh pretty flower, I still sense thee in my aura, For my garden is nothing now but memory, A glistening light in the abyss that is my mind, Captivated with thy blooming petals but I durst not be thy gardener. Oh pretty flower, spring is all that is life in thy aroma, If not for the slave inside that serves the unholy, Aware of that thee tried thankless to nurture, But I am heroin; I must be left to me. Oh pretty flower, for all the death and panic inside my zenith, I shalt tarry in thy garden for as long as I am." Repent I may but the fog remains, Recant I may but the memory remains. III - Rumination Drowning in the sand that rained upon us, The clouds we created from our decadence, Escaping the frailty of distorted reality, The time we created feels timeless, Baffling is the nothingness that surrounds it, Life it is.
