The Demitasse Of Tepid Tears - Loop Poem

The Demitasse Of Tepid Tears - Loop Poem

A Poem by The Jay

I've lost the right,
Right that I never had,
Had it so you could,
Could have read my silence,
Silence and the violence that flows,
Flows through my veins,
Veins that have dried up of,
Of not being felt,
I get lost,
Lost if I'm found,
Found in what I've lost,
Lost in the speed,
Speed of time,
Time which outraces,
Outraces me,
Lost in the time,
Time which outraces,
Outraces me to my way,
My way back home.

Brilliant Jay! And I rather like the repeat in the last stanza. It made it all that more of a powerful ending. ^_^ I hope you do another.

Superb, Jay. I read it twice. Exquisitely penned.
