The Adventures of Blake and Kile (age 8)

Meet Blake and Kile. Two friends who can steal food when they're hungry and make plans to do so

Today was a day like any other at Ray Barn elementary School. In a 3rd grade class at the school there were two kids, a girl and a boy. Their names were Blake Hernandez and Kile Blake. They were friends with each other and when it comes down to food they can be sneaky children. 

“Kile I'm hungry” Blake whispered to Kile 

“Me too. Hey I have an idea” Kile says quietly “to get us some good food” 

“Ohhhh is it what I think it is?” Blake said smirking 

“Yup.” Kile said nodding his head 

He had a grin on his face, well the half that was visible since his bangs covered his eyes. Blake had the same grin as her friend and her red eyes glanced at the teacher's desk. Her black hair was in a high ponytail and she was just inches shorter than him. 

“I'll distract the teacher while you get the snacks” Kile says 

“Fair enough” Blake opens her backpack 

Kile grabbed his math work and walked up to their teachers, Mr. K. As Kile spoke to him, Blake reached into her backpack to grab something. It contained a mic portal that opened up into Mr. K’s desk. As she grabbed the snacks, her hand hit the edge of the drawer, the teacher heard it and looked at his desk confused but ignored it. 

“I must be hearing things” he thought

Kile ignored it so that he doesn't look suspicious “thanks for your help Mr. K. I think I understand it now “ 

Kile walked away back to his desk by Blake “Did you get it?” He whispered 

“Of course I did” she whispered 

The bell rang, which was the sign of lunch. The children ran out of the class in excitement for food and play. Blake and Kile went to the pavilion and started to eat their snacks. 

“Mmmm yummy” Blake said eating some fries that they warmed up somehow 

“Yeah. To think Mr. K has these things for lunch” Kile said eating some Takis 

“Where did you guys get these things?” James asked 

James was their friend, kind of. He was their age and everyone called him Jimmy. 

“Can you share some with us?” Leonardo, his younger brother asked

“If you give me a $1.00 then sure” Kile said eating 

“Hmmmm you drive a hard bargain Kile but deal” Jimmy gave Kile $4.00 to get chips for him, Leo, Peach (his little sister), and Mark (their best friend)

Kile handed him four bags of chips and put the money into his pocket before trading some chips for some of Blake’s fries. At the table nearby Jimmy gave chips to the three other kids. 

“It's a good thing you grabbed those coupons for Terry’s now we can eat more after school” Kile said grinning 

“Mmhh aren’t we great?” Blake said 

Both of them laughed and ate until the end of lunch. Mr.K entered the class looking kind of grumpy since his lunch magically disappeared. Blake and Kile looked at each other with a slight grin. A few hours later when school ended Blake went to get her little brother Alex from Kindergarten before her, Kile and Alex went home. About two blocks from Blake’s house, Kile went the opposite direction to the orphanage where he lived. He looked back at Blake as she walked towards her home and grinned slightly at her.
