James's Adventure (Age 9)

The 2 young princes of the Blackheart Kingdom decided to go exploring. They split up and James makes a new friend

   

In the Blackheart Kingdom, about seven years before they went to Earth, lived two young twin princes named James and Ryku Blackheart. James was the older one and had onyx black hair, orange eyes that resemble embers from a fire, and milk chocolate skin. He had the ability to produce and manipulate ice while his younger brother Ryku looked nothing like him nor had the same ability. He had silver hair, green eyes like a forest when the sun hits the leaves, and the same milk chocolate skin as his brother. His magic allowed him to produce and control fire. When James and Ryku were little kids, they were known for doing dangerous things like jumping off the castle tops and rooftops and landing on something soft or using their magic to slow the fall. Their parents knew they were full of energy and when they got them a butler that could keep up with them, they were relieved. As the future heir of the throne they don't leave the castle unless they're going to school. But that all changed on this Saturday morning where the weather was pleasant with spots of clouds throughout the morning sky. Sometimes unexpected journeys like this one helps you find a new friend.

    “I have an idea!” Ryku said sitting up on his bed. 

    “ohhhhh what is it?” I asked excitingly 

   “Let's go to town and hide from Rodrick” he said 

   “That's a stupid idea! Let's do it! “ I said happily

   We quickly got out of bed and got dressed in regular clothing. We ran out of our room, past the throne room where our parents were, and right past Rodrick. He was our new personal servant, or butler. Rodrick was our age (nine)and is a fairy with pale blue eyes, blonde hair, and pale skin, we at first confused him for a vampire. He was caught trying to steal our crests a few months ago so our parents decided that he can be our butler since the last one quit. 

    “Your majesties! Where are you going?” he yelled out as he ran after us. 

    We ignored him and ran away into the kingdom. Once we were away from the castle we came to a fork in the road. 

     “Okay I'll go to the market area “ Ryku said smiling 

     “I'll go to the Nobility area” I said 

     We split up and ran away. I ran towards the nobility area and since I wasn't paying attention I ran right into a girl shorter than me. She was a Neko with curly white hair, light grey eyes, and tan skin. 

     “Ow” she groaned as she rubbed her head on the ground.

    “I'm sorry. Im very very sorry. I'm hiding from my friend. My name is James Blackheart. “ I said getting up and offering my hand to help her like my dad taught me 

     She blushed slightly as she took it “I'm Eliza Sakuria” 

    “It's nice to meet you Lady Eliza” I said smiling at her

    “The pleasure is all mine” she says 

    Her face was redder than my brother’s flames and she very seemed flustered as small sparks of lightning ran through her long white hair.

    “If you want, you could hide at my house “ she offered 

    “Yeah that's a great idea my lady” i said excitedly 

    She smiled and notioned me to follow her. We walked down the street, made a few turns, and walked up to a grand house. I looked at it in awe, this place was huge. It was 3x larger than the other houses. We walked indoors and the house was grand and elegant. Some maids were cleaning some stuff and Eliza waved at some of them. 

    “Mother! We have a guest!” Eliza yelled out 

   “Lady Eliza please don't yell in the house “ an elderly woman said kindly 

   “I'm sorry Ms. Ching” Eliza said bowing a bit 

   “it's okay my lady” Ms. Ching said with a kind smile 

   “Eliza? Who's our guest?” a woman said walking into the room

   She had long red curly hair, stormy grey eyes, and was the same skin tone as Eliza. She wore a red and white dress with heels like an outfit my mom would wear. Her voice was nice and calming, like a spring breeze. She was, indeed, a noblewoman. The famous Sally Sakuria. I can't believe I'm actually meeting her. My mom likes her dance performances and her voice and she's met her a couple of times. 

   “Hello Mrs. Sakuria, I'm James Blackheart” I said giving her a respectful bow 

   “Oh your majesty, no need to bow. It is an honor to have you in our humble home” she said smiling “What brings you to my home?” 

   “Oh, well me and my brother are hiding from our butler Rodrick. And we wanted to look around the Kingdom“ I said smiling 

    She chuckled slightly, “Prince James you really are a troublemaker as I heard from your mother. Eliza, keep the prince company while he's here please.”  

   “Okay mom” she says smiling brightly at her

   “Thank you my little flower” she says “I’m to my study, I unfortunately have some paperwork to do.“ 

    “Thank you for letting me stay here Mrs. Sakuria” I said 

   “Please call me Sally” she said placing a hand on her chest 

   When Sally left the room, Ms. Ching led us to the garden. It was huge and had nice flowers. A gardener, that I would assume is an Elf due to his ears and height, was watering the flowers and shifting around the plants to get a nice pattern. Once he saw us, he bowed and left to a nice house that was nearby. 

    “This garden is nice Eliza” I said happily 

    “Oh….. Thanks Your Majesty” she says blushing deeply 

    “You can call me James, you know” I said looking at her 

    “Oh okay thanks James” she says looking at the ground

    I got an idea and made a small little cat out of ice and made it look up at her. Eliza smiled and giggled slightly before sitting down on the ground. She touched it's head and smiled. I sat across from her and controlled it. 

    “This is cool. I can't do that but I can make a tiny tornado” she says 

    “Really? That's awesome Eliza!” I said impressed at that

     Her face turned red and sparks flew her hair again at a face pace. The wind started to pick up and the clouds blocked the sun. 

     “Let's go inside it's getting windy” I said standing up

     “Huh oh yeah let's go” she said as we walked inside 

     Once we did, the weather returned to what it was before. A nice sunny day with little clouds. 

     “That was fun “ I said smiling 

      Eliza nodded her head and her mother came back downstairs. “Are you okay Eliza? I noticed that you were changing the weather again” 

      “Oh I'm okay mommy. I got startled “ she says smiling at her 

       Sally smiled and kissed her head “Well at least James was there to calm you down before you created another tornado” 

      I nod my head at her and then the doorbell rang. Ms. Ching opened it and there stood an annoyed Rodrick holding Ryku's hand. 

     “There you are your majesty “ he said “Let's go home before your parents get worried” 

     “Wait how did you find me?” I asked confused 

     “Easy. I asked your brother where you went then the Thorn family told me that they had seen you coming here, then I found you. Seismic senses come in handy with you two.” he said shrugging 

     “Awww okay you win this time. Goodbye Lady Sally, Lady Eliza, and Ms. Ching “ I said bowing 

    “Goodbye your majesty “ they said 

    “Bye James” Eliza said under her breath softly 

    I waved at them as Rodrick lectured us as we walked home. I whispered in Ryku's ear “Wanna jump off the roof?” I asked 

    “Yeah. This is getting boring.“ he said smirking 

    “Let's do it when we get home” Isaid 

    We nod our heads in agreement and follow Rodrick home. I was glad my brother made that suggestion to run into the kingdom. Eliza and her family seem really nice and Eliza seems pretty cool. I wonder what my brother did in the marketplace?
