Disagreeable People

I have recently been accused of being a disagreeable person. This on a website I will not name citing a well known incident in U S News.

I find the term "disagreeable person" supremely honorable and one to be worn as a badge. Much as the one my nephew wears as he serves his city as a member of the police force. Many disagreeable people have lived across history. Noah, for example, was a disgreeable person. 120 years he preached the word of Almighty God to a group of heathens , number of converts - 0. Later there was Abraham and Moses. Subsequently David who stood against the Giant Goliath who disagreed that Goliath was invincible, The Old Testament is full of individuals who are full of disagreeable people. They are called the Prophets of the Almighty.

Then there is the New Testament. The King of Kings was one of these disagreeable people. As it turned out, He told only the truth, The Divine And Holy Truth . Roughly 1000 years after this, a woman in Coventry England was disagreeable , not for the sake of such but as a sign of submission to Her Christ and her Coventryites. Im certain you all know who I am referring to. Subsequently the leaders of the Protestant Reformation, Luther , Knox, Calvin, and a host of others protested the Holy Bible being translated into the "contaminated" non latin dialetcs of the (if I may say this) proletariat of Europe of that day.

A recent example of fiction in the genre of the disagreeable is the charachter played by Peter Finch in the movie Network. Finch died in real life shortly after this movie. In this movie he was shot by leftist radicals who were working for a U S Corpratist.

So as for being disagreeable, I am in with some damn fine company...
