The Marriage of Conquest and Death

"
The venue, The Imperial Palace, Rome...
The Event, The Wedding of the Ages.
The Groom, a well known individual, flanked by his associates. None of them in the common and grotesque garb as thought of in contemporary lore, yet each dressed dapperly and as gentlemen of the ages. The leader astride his skeleton of a stallion, riding in the presence of his company,lining the aisle to his right as he takes his place as groom. As he takes his place accordingly,
ten sickles soar skyward. 
And then, on a lovely white arabian stallion, dressed in a gown of pure virgin white, enters the most beautiful bride in the cosmos, and lining the aisle to her left, ten vestal maidens of rome wearing pointed crowns of gold, ecah maiden holding in her right hand a torch of fire, and the bride takes her place by her groom, and dismounts , and stands by her husband, who has also dismounted. and ten torches of fire ascend heavenward.
The best man, the Ceremonial Master's Maternal Uncle, Claudius, The Ring Bearer, his nephew, nero. The flower girl, The emperor's sister, Drusilla. The maid of honor, the Queen of Rome, herself, Cesonia.
The Imperial Palace 
seating one million guests,
grows silent, as the Emperor, Caligula takes the Imperial stand. 
O YES, O YES, O YES,
WE ARE GATHERED THIS DAY , IN THE PRESENCE OF JUPITER, AND THE GODS OF ROME TO WITNESS THE MARRIAGE OF THIS MAN AND THIS WOMAN IN THE BONDS OF ETERNAL AND HOLY WEDLOCK!
LET HIM WHO CAN PRESENT JUST CAUSE WHY THIS UNION SHOULD NOT TRANSPIRE SPEAK AT THIS MOMENT.....OR REMAIN SILENT....FOR ALL ETERNITY!!!!!!!!!!
(not one word)
O King of the Dead, do you take the Queen of the Conquistadoresses as your wed spouse, and forsaking all other women , living and dead, cleave only to her for the longest day of eternity?
"Aye, Sire."
O Queen of The Conquistadoressess,
Do you take the King of the Dead as your wed husband, and forsaking all other, men, cleave to him and him only for all eternity.
"Unto none other sire, aye."
The Rings , Nero.
"The Ring is a symbol of eternal Union.
WIth no beginning and no ending..
And placing the rings on each others respective fingers...
"BY THE POWER VESTED IN ME BY JUPITER AND THE SENATE AND PEOPLE OF ROME, I HEREBY PROCLAIM THE GRIM REAPER AND THE LADY COLUMBIA WED FOR ALL ETERNITY. The Grim Reaper may kiss the bride."

The 10 sickles and the 10 torches met in mid air forming a giant arc. the couple mounted their respected stallions, and rode away......

forever.....
