It aint me babe

It aint me babe

A Poem by Lewis Findley
"

a poem for a friend - who had me confused.. For Johnny Cash

"
My friends would never call you crazy.
I was about to, but to crazy, THAT would be an insult...
So I wil pull a Schultz. and I know nothing. no need to cause a tumult.
Believe me I have been an Independent Player.
Free Agency works only for a while.
Didnt some free agent hang himself at Aceldema Tree.
As life for him had lost its smile.
Folks know that you are looking.
What are you looking for?
Is it someone to open as a gentleman,
each and every door.
Bob wrote a song a while back.
He had a friend  who wsa rather crass...
Like I said, It aint me youre looking for babe.
I dont believe its Bob Dylan, OR JOHNNY CASH.
